Q: Will there be any publishers at Declare again this year? YES! Harvest House Publishers has joined us as a sponsor, and Jessica Kirkland is one of our speakers. We are working to make a dedicated time for attendees to meet with publishers. Some amazing things came out of blogger-publisher connections last year, and we want to provide the opportunity again this year.
Q: How many women attend? In the previous years post-conference surveys, one of the things attendees said they love about Declare is the size (the number of attendees). So we prayed about it and decided to keep Declare around the same size as the 2013 conference. We are inviting 250 women this year and praying that seats are filled according to God’s will and grace!
Q: Is there an area where we can buy things from the sponsors, like books? YES! Our sponsors are looking forward to meeting you, introducing you to their brand/organization, and some will have products for purchase and ways to support their cause. We are excited for the sponsors we’ve partnered with this year!
Q: A company is sponsoring me to attend Declare. How can I represent them well at Declare? We are thankful for companies that partner with bloggers! Here are some ideas to represent your sponsor: -Distribute your personal/blog business card with sponsor’s information also printed on the same card, only in the manner of exchanging cards with other attendees, -Write blog posts for your sponsor and display their logo on your blog, -Send twitter messages about your sponsor with #declareconf, -Instagram images/messages promoting your sponsor with #declareconf, -Pinterest boards/pins to promote your sponsor with #declareconf, -Wear branded apparel or accessories (bag, laptop sticker, shirt) to promote your sponsor, -Network with other bloggers in a non-aggressive manner to promote your sponsor.
