Amber Rhoads grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and started leading worship when she was 15 years old. After receiving a music degree, she traveled and ministered for many years before becoming a worship pastor. She was the worship leader and President for Sole Desire Ministries, a non-profit organization that ministered all over the world and started hunger relief programs. Through this ministry, Amber began leading worship in Spanish and has since had the opportunity to minister in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Israel. She has been a part of Gateway Church for 13 years and is currently a worship pastor on staff at Gateway Church in Frisco. Amber was also the worship leader for the Women of Faith Fall 2013 Tour. Amber believes that praise is a powerful weapon and desires to see every person experience an intimate relationship with God. Amber’s message is one of restoration, healing and love. Amber is a single mom and her only daughter was diagnosed with an incurable disease that causes tumors in all her vital organs. Amber gives hope and encouragement through music to others who need healing in their lives. Her heart is to see God take the brokenness in every life and turn it into something beautiful.
