SPEAKER INTRODUCTIONS & SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
Bekah Cate
Rebekah is a high school special education coach who loves her job and her students. She is passionate about serving others and watching them discover who they were created to be. She lives in McKinney, TX, and can be found around the table sharing meals and coffee with friends. She enjoys playing with her dog Hooey, bass fishing, and being anywhere outside with a view or a fountain. She hopes that every interaction you have with her leaves you with a sense of peace and desire to know God more.
Eryn Hall
Fifteen years ago, Eryn followed the call God placed on her heart to create a space for Christian women communicators to gather, grow, and glorify Him through their unique callings. This year, as we return for Declare 2025, Eryn will share the beautiful history of Declare and speak to our theme: Restore. God has been faithful from the very beginning—and He is still in the business of restoring all things. It's up to us to contend for our calling.
Session 1 - Contend for Your Calling
Rachel Anne Ridge
Rachel Anne Ridge is a writer, speaker, artist, and creativity coach who helps women rediscover their God-given gifts and live with purpose—no matter their age or stage of life. She picked up a paintbrush for the first time at 35 and became a professional artist. At 50, she published the first of six books and launched her speaking career. And at 56, she became a certified life and creativity coach, helping others lean into their calling with joy and courage.
Session 2 -
Kristin Lemus
Kristin is a wife and mom to six children, ages 16 to 26. She understands the trenches of motherhood and has a passion for encouraging moms who feel worn out or overwhelmed. Kristin is a writer, speaker, podcaster, and conference host. Through her journey with chronic illness, she’s learned to lean on God in weakness and cling to the truth that He brings beauty from ashes. Her message is rooted in hope, restoration, and the unchanging character of a faithful God who restores.
Session 3 - Unstuck: Hope for the Weary, the Waiting, & the Wounded
You may feel stuck, worn out from the waiting, bruised by circumstances you never saw coming, or holding pieces of a life that doesn't look like you hoped it would. But what if being stuck isn't what you think it is — what if it's the very place where God begins to heal you deeply and set you free? In this session, you'll be invited to let go of what you can't fix, make space to grieve what's been lost, and find fresh hope in the truth that God is still with you, still working, and still writing your story. His plans and purposes aren't on pause, even when it feels like you aren't moving forward.

Session 4 - Vision Restored: Using Spiritual Discernment to Start, Stay, and Finish Your Mission
The journey of ministry can be lonely, defeating, and sometimes confusing. It's tempting to quit when we can't see what's next. Just as Jesus told His disciples to get into the boat, God is calling each of us to our next mission. Jumping into the boat is often the best part, but few make it across to the other side. In this session, we will discuss how to discern when you are being called into the boat, how to stay on the boat, and when to recognize that it's time to get out and minister on the other side. This message is for the one who needs courage to step onto the boat, encouragement to stay on it, or the release to get off when God says the assignment is complete.
Megan Fish
Megan Fish is an author, speaker, podcaster, and passionate advocate for women seeking faith in the midst of life’s messiness. She creates a welcoming space where women are encouraged to live boldly, embrace vulnerability, and explore their faith with honesty and openness. Her mission is to make Christianity accessible and relatable—offering permission to ask hard questions and discover Jesus in the everyday, unpolished moments of life.
Megan is married to her best friend, a wise and loving partner who inspires her to become a better version of herself each day. Together, they are raising three kind-hearted sons who continually teach her about grace, patience, and joy.
She is the host of the A Little Bit of Hope podcast and engages with a vibrant community of women through Instagram.
Session 5 - Rooted: Grounded in God’s Promises
After many years of writing, waiting, and wrestling, I’ve learned that true success isn’t found in applause, platforms, or paychecks—it’s found in obedience to God’s call. I’ll share how staying anchored in Christ led me to freedom, peace, contentment, and purpose—not through comparison, but through identity in Jesus. This session invites women to release worldly measures of success and embrace the joy of walking boldly and surrendered in their God-given calling.
Michelle Acker
Michelle Acker has been a faithful part of the Declare Conference team for 15 years, helping shape and steward the mission from its early days as Mamas Write. She brings a calm, grounded presence to the team and is known for her wisdom, creativity, and quiet strength. As an artist and writer, Michelle is passionate about cultivating mindful rhythms of rest and restoration. Through her creative work, she invites women to slow down, be present, and experience the refreshment that comes from time with God. Her heart is to encourage others to embrace peace—not through striving, but through intentional living rooted in Christ.
Michelle lives in North Texas with her husband and two sons.
Session 6 - Eight Minutes with God: A Creative Encounter of Restoration
This hands-on session will guide you through a sacred pause—an experience designed to help you release the noise, respond to God’s presence, and receive restoration.
You’ll be invited into a quiet encounter with God using two simple but powerful tools:
a practice of stillness and honesty, followed by a gentle visual meditation that helps your body, spirit, and dreams come into alignment with the One who called you.
No art skills needed—just a willing heart.
Bring your whole self. God will meet you there.
