Declare Labs are back this year!
After Declare 2013, we took attendees feedback into consideration and prayed about how we can offer more time for technical learning together. The Labs are daytime sessions before the conference where attendees can get one on one, hands on teaching from an expert in a smaller classroom-type setting.
Declare Labs are Thursday, July 30. There are 2 sessions of Labs, three Labs per session, and a limited amount of seats available in each Lab. There is an additional fee of $40 to attend a Declare Lab. The labs are well worth their value and truly a great investment.
Declare Labs are expert led. Seriously, we’ve got some of the top industry experts ready to lead you through their fields of expertise. Have you been listening to the Declare Podcast? We’re talking with our Lab speakers, getting to know them, and finding out what to expect in their Lab.
The Labs are limited to 15 people per Lab. Bring your questions, because there will be time for you to really and truly interact with your expert. On top of that, you’ll be getting to know the other people in your lab! If #BeautifulDeep is your first Declare Conference, attending a lab session will be a great ice breaker!
Our labs will be hands on. If you have a camera and are planning to attend the photography lab, bring it! If you’ve got a laptop, bring it! In a recent Declare podcast about her lab, Crystal Stine mentioned one of her biggest hopes for her lab is that everyone will come out of it having made their own graphics to use on their social media. In Heather MacFadyen’s podcast, she mentioned getting everyone geared up with their first podcast recordings. Each of our labs will be chock full of hands on learning. Also? Our labs aren’t just for beginners. Remember, these women are experts in their fields and all learning levels will come away with new tips, tricks, and advice!
You might find your tribe in our labs. There is a lot of buzz right now about mastermind groups for blogging and why you need to be a part of one. Maybe you’ll find your tribe (people who have a similar niche who network together) in the lab you attend. You already know that you’ve got a common interest!
If you’re hoping to further your education in a specific area related to blogging, social media, and your online presence, the Declare Labs are going to be the best way to do it!
