We’ve all felt the frustration.
After working hard to gather a few Facebook fans, we discovered only a fraction of those fans saw posts we just shared or questions we asked. Pretty soon “some” people quit posting on Facebook all together.
Today’s podcast guest, Holly Homer, offers a word of hope for our attendees. Since October of 2013, her Facebook page has grown from 13,000 to 500,000 fans. Incredible.
Holly shares 3 tips for growing your Facebook presence. Do. not. miss. this. episode.
What we chat about:
- How Holly purchased another blog and re-branded it as Kids Activities Blog.
- How her Facebook page grew from 13,000 fans in Oct. 2013 to 500,000 this week when most people had given up on this platform
- How to move from being angry at Facebook to learning to play the game by Facebook’s rules.
- How bloggers are in a unique position to deliver viral content to Facebook’s users (which in turn helps FB compete against Pinterest and Twitter).
- How you can learn from Holly about social media for hours at her Lab, August 7th–bring your computer and your questions.
- Holly’s tips for growing your social media platform: 1) Focus on one project or platform at a time 2) Look at the available analytics (FB Insights) –post accordingly 3) There is no downside to being generous–share other blogger’s content on your pae 4) Don’t do this by yourself — no reason for you not to join forces, a friend to support you
