“If you’re waiting for something (you probably are!)… a breakthrough, provision, answer to prayer, a miracle… and if you’ve been waiting any length of time (you probably have!), you may wonder if it will ever come to pass. Instant answers and miracles are amazing, but we don’t often see the instantaneous in our walk through life. I believe God has something for us in the waiting that we’d miss if all we had to do was pray *POOF!* receive.
God wants to develop something in us as we press through life, helping us grow in faith, prayer, expectation, patience, perseverance, tenacity, courage, resolve. As Hebrews 6:15 reminds us, it’s the one who endured long and waited patiently who realized and obtained what God had promised.
Let Him come alongside you and help you in the waiting seasons of life. What He has for you is worth the wait, and you can trust that He is able to bring it to pass. Lean into Him when you get weary in the waiting and let the Holy Spirit revive you with hope!”

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. -Romans 8:28
thank You, Father for being alongside us when we don’t know how to pray. when all we can do is sigh or groan, thank You for knowing our heart’s true cry. Lord, thank You for knowing us better than we know ourselves. may we remain in Your presence, confident that You go before us to make beauty in our midst. in Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
