Personal Sponsorship Policy

Declare is a conference and community designed to equip women to walk in their callings as Christian communicators and influencers.  We are writers, podcasters, speakers, bloggers, artists, leaders, and influencers.  Our heart is to equip women with encouragement, support & community as they seek to know God and make Him known. Our goal is to bring together our many voices via our blogs, websites, podcasts and social media networks to spread One message: the goodness of our God!

Thank you for keeping all conduct and conversation regarding Declare, The Declare Conference, and other Declare events professional, respectful, and in alignment with God’s Word.

Declare relies on our official sponsors to put on this conference each year, and we are also thankful for companies that have partnered with attendees to sponsor your attendance at the conference.

In order to honor Declare’s generous sponsors, we ask that attendees abide by the Personal Sponsorship Policy. Anyone found in violation of this policy will have their conference ticket revoked without refund.

If you are attending The Declare Conference on behalf of a personal sponsorship or company, the following is NOT PERMITTED:

-Meet-ups or events to promote your sponsor at the conference venue {unless the meetup is in your room and not during Declare Conference sessions}

-Display of materials from your sponsor on conference grounds.  (For example, you may not set up your own table and banner on behalf of a personal sponsorship or company. You may not leave a stack of promotional materials on a table in the hall.)

-Distribution of swag, gifts, or materials from your sponsor during The Declare Conference

If you are attending The Declare Conference on behalf of a sponsoring company, we encourage you to do so, with these suggestions:

-Hand out your personal/blog business card with sponsor’s information also printed on the same card, when you would normally exchange cards with other attendees.   Build authentic relationships, make new friends, and share how happy you are to be sponsored by {insert-your-sponsor-here}.  Don’t be spammy.  Do share your excitement and love for the brand.

-Write blog posts for your sponsor and display their logo on your blog

-Twitter messages about your sponsor with #wearedeclare

-Instagram images/messages promoting your sponsor with #wearedeclare

-Pinterest boards/pins to promote your sponsor with #wearedeclare

-Wearing branded apparel or accessories to promote your sponsor (bag, laptop skin/sticker, etc.)

-Networking with other bloggers in a non-aggressive manner to promote your sponsor

Invite your personal sponsor to become an official sponsor of The Declare Conference for more unique promotion and marketing options including vendor tables, and distribution of their product/materials. We’d love to work with them! For information: info@wearedeclare.com.
