Q: Do I have to select sessions before the conference? No. We encourage you to look through the sessions offered (listed here), highlight the ones that stand out to you, and pray about it! There are so many great sessions to choose from this year! Consider the relevancy. Think about the direction of your blog. Research the speakers. Be open to learning something new. And when you get to Declare, you will be ready!
Q: How do I find a roommate? You are welcome to start your search for a roommate on the Declare Community Facebook page, where other Declare attendees are chatting. Another good place to ask is on Twitter using the hashtag #DeclareConf. We’ll retweet and do our very best to help you get connected with a roommate!
Q: Can I get to know other attendees before the conference? Great idea! Check out the Attendee Link-up Page here where we’re encouraging all attendees to link up their blog or website “About” page so other attendees can get to know one another before the event. But please don’t feel pressured to memorize anything! There will be plenty of time for getting to know one another at Declare. And don’t forget to join our private Declare Facebook Community once you’ve got your ticket. It’s another great way to get to know people before you arrive!
Q: What is the schedule? Labs start Thursday 8/7 at 1PM. Check-in begins Thursday at 5:30PM and Declare officially begins at 7PM. Friday 8/8 and Saturday 8/9 begin at 7:30AM, and there are special events planned each night after dinner.
Q: Will there be an organized group workout? YES! There will be a Revelation Fitness workout on Saturday morning sponsored by Revelation Wellness. It will be an all levels class. Very user friendly. 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, followed by 20 minutes of Holy Yoga.
